James Lamb Lindsey was the son of David Lindsey and Lydia (Lamb) Lindsey. His mother died giving birth to him. His father brought him from Kansas to Illinois to the home of his sister, Jane Linn, to raise. However, he died before he turned three months old. This photo was taken in 1962. His stone is now broken in two, covered in black lichen and almost completely illegible. The inscription was obtained from old cemetery records and from a gravestone rubbing taken in October 2009.
