Mrs. Dawn Church Jackson, age 65, of Wilkesboro, died Thursday, May 4, 2006 at Avante at Wilkesboro. Mrs. Jackson was born July 20, 1940 in Watauga County to Rufus Vaughn and Laura Neusiis Church.
Surviving are one son, James Andrew Jackson of Blacksburg, Va., her mother, Laura N. Church of Purlear, two brothers, Day Church of Millers Creek, Cody Church and wife Sharon of Purlear.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 6, at Lewis Fork Baptist Church with the Rev. Sherrill Wellborn officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
