Edward R. Ahlf, 89, of St. Ansgar, died Wednesday, December 28, 1983, in St. Ansgar.
Funeral services were held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar, with Rev. Norman Betke officiating. Burial was in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery south of St. Ansgar.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma of St. Ansgar; four daughters: Gladys of St. Ansgar, Delores Duncan of Fidley, Minnesota, Marilene Epstein of Hoffman Estates, Illinois, and Adelene Flowers of Rockton, Illinois; by three sisters: Theresa Eske of Osage, and Martha Knaak and Bertha Ahlf both of St. Ansgar; 12 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
