Harvey Dean Hart, 59, of Grove, Okla., passed away Thursday, January 24, 2008, at his home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Columbia. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Harvey was born Aug. 10, 1948, in Tuscumbia to Arthur and Alvina Schwaller Hart, and they preceded him in death. He was married to Cindy Bohannan on Aug. 22, 1997, in Bakersfield, Calif., and she survives.
Harvey was a Vietnam veteran who served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1974. He will be remembered for his love of golf and riding his Harley-Davidson.
He is also survived by children Sherrie Wilson of California, Mo., Melissa Hodge of Cripple Creek, Colo., Dennis Nickles and wife Jamie of Columbia, Brian Nickles and wife Robyn of Barnett, and Derek Anthony Joseph Hart of Grove; grandchildren Amber, Ashley, Andrew, Brittany, Tyler, Dawn, Alexandra Michelle, Dalton and James; one great-grandson; grandfather-in-law Chester Logan of Columbia; mother- and father-in-law Ruth and Elmo Clark of Colorado Springs, Colo.; siblings Patricia Bushman and husband John of Lake Ozark, Leon Hart and wife Helen of Brazito, and Theresa Hayes and husband Richard of California, Mo.; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, Molly and Jingles.
