Linda Underwood Pierce, 66, died Monday, September 6, 2010 at her home in Newnan, GA. She was born in Calhoun, GA to the late D.F. Underwood & Mary Phipps Underwood. She was a member of Sharp Memorial United Methodist Church in Young Harris, GA. Mrs. Pierce worked as an Executive Secretary for The Coca-Cola Company and she was a Certified Appraiser and Real Estate Broker. She enjoyed riding horses, quilting and raising her Australian Shepherds. The funeral service is Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, Rev. Darris Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The visitation is Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, GA 30263.
