COOKEVILLE –Funeral services for Oren H. Phillips, 51, of 1992 Free Hill Rd. will be held Thursday, Jan. 4, at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Hooper and Huddleston Funeral Home. Mr. Phillips died Tuesday, Jan. 2, at Cookeville General Hospital. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Logan Tilghman and burial will be at Cookeville City Cemetery.
Mr. Phillips was a native if Putnam County and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ras Phillips; one son, Jerry Phillips of Cookeville. He was a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Billie Smith Phillips; one son, Jerry Phillips of Cookeville; two daughters,
Mrs. Janice Davis and Sherry Phillips, both of Cookeville; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Barnes of Cookeville; one brother, Clifford Phillips of Kingsport.
