"The Brown County Democrat (Nashville, Indiana) 18 Nov 1981, Wed

Nashville native Segeal Monroe Bond, 79, Buchanan, Texas, died on Sunday, November 8, 1981 in a Llano, Texas, hospital following a one year illness. Born on January 24, 1902, to William T and Bertha Robertson Bond, he married Mary Rogers on April 19, 1924 in Martinsville and she survives. A retired Standard Oil Company distributor in Monroe County, Bond was a member of the Church of Christ. Other survivors are a brother, Walter Bond of Schooner Valley; four sisters, Faith Gwin and Ruby Petro, both of Indianapolis, Nellie Woods of Bloomington, and Bertha Lucas of Columbus; and one grandchild. A son, Harold, and two daughters, Etta Marie Rogers and Joan, preceded him in death."
