Xenia McKinlay Nelson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend died August 21, 1992.

Born July 8, 1912, in Teton City, Idaho to James W. and Josephine D. Meservy Mc Kinlay.

Attended schools in Teton City, Ashton, and Rexburg, Idaho. Graduated with an associates degree in education from Ricks College. Married to her sweetheart and eternal companion, Willis G. Nelson, June 1, 1934 in the Salt Lake Temple by Apostle David O. Mc Kay.

A faithful and devoted member of the LDS Church. Served as a missionary in the Central States Mission. Presided in ward and stake leadership positions. Served with her husband in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple presidency and on a mission in Alabama. She lived her life in an exempilary manner that blessed all those around her. She was an example of love, service and endurance to the end.

She will be missed by her husband Willis G. Nelson, Sandy; children, daughters, Gail Timms, Provo; MarJean Christianson, Sandy; sons, Kyle B. Nelson, Cerritos, California; and Evan W. Nelson, Sandy and their spouses; 25 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, sisters, Mary Noble, Mesa Arizona; Ruby Park, Idaho Falls, Idaho; brother, Gilbert T. McKinlay, Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 24, 1992, 12 noon in the Alta 6th Ward, 8909 South 1700 East, friends may call Sunday evening 6-8 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, and Monday from 10:45-11:45 a.m.
Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
