Adeline R. (Barrows) Harrison, 92, of Kansas City, Kansas; died September 5, 2010, at the NorthCare Hospice House. She was born September 5, 1918 in White River Junction, VT., the daughter of David A. and Annie M. (Ellis) Barrows. Her parents, four brothers, and husbands; Dale Simmons, Clinton Leath, and Leonard Harrison; two sons, David and Arthur Leath, and one granddaughter Marie Leath preceded her in death. Two sons, LeRoy Simmons (Ruth) of Gladstone, Richard Leath (Connie) of Kansas City, Ks., daughter Frances McCracken (Don) of Kansas City, Ks., step-son Robert Harrison (Anita), 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren are her survivors. Visitation will be on Thursday September 9, 2010 from 10-11a.m.; Services will follow at 11a.m. at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
