Terry Ray "T.A." Austin was born in Steele, Missouri on May 15, 1951, the son of the late Walter Ray Austin and Allie Sue Kelly Austin.
On May 22, 1970, he was united in marriage to Betty Jo Holland, who survives.
Mr. Austin was lead man over handwinding for Magnetek for 30 years in Lexington, Tennessee. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, Nascar and most of all, he enjoyed having family time with all family members. Mr. Austin was also an Elvis Presley fan.
He departed this life on September 3, 2010 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 59 years, 3 months and 21 days.
In addition to his wife, Betty Jo Austin, of Enville, Tennessee, he is survived by one daughter, Sandra Austin Cagle Bell of Counce, Tennessee; and two sons, Brian Lee Austin and his wife Helen, and Brad Lynn Austin and his wife Lyndsi, all of Saltillo, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Jared-Michael Goode, Hunter Alan Goode, Colby Lee Austin, Daniel Bradley Austin and Nathan Garrett Austin.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Patty Renee Austin; two grandchildren, Timothy "Kyle" Cagle and Zachary Tyler Cagle; and one brother, Thomas Ray Austin.
