Samuel Earp, M.S., M.D., was the son of Joseph and Margaret E. (Walls) Earp, husband of Evelyn Mae (Byers) Earp; they had two sons, Evanson Byers and Leon Sutcliffe. Dr. Earp was Professor, Secretary, and Dean of Central University; he was a teacher of Chemistry and Dentistry. Samuel belonged to the Scottish Rite and Knights of Pythias. He died following a heart attack.
