The Leader for June 8th and also June 15th mentioned trips to this city by E. W. Bradley of Elba, Nebr., because of the serious illness of his mother, Mrs. H. Bradley who was living at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. S. Howard of the Madison Square country. Tuesday, Mrs. Bradley passed away and Wednesday morning Mr. Bradley and Mrs. Howard left here for Aurora to which place the remains were taken for interment in the Aurora Cemetery.

Obituary
Eliza Caroline Swisher was born at Richmond, Indiana, January 12th, 1841, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. S. Howard, several miles west of Taylor, Loup County, Nebraska, post office, Walworth, June 20th, 1922 at the age of 81 years, 6 months and 8 days.

She grew to womanhood in Indiana and was united in marriage to Horace Bradley in the year 1859. For a time they lived in Illinois. From there they went to Shenandoah, Iowa, where they lived for 13 years. Her husband preceded her in death six years ago. Since then she has made her home with her children.

Mr. and Mrs. Bradley were the parents of nine children, as follows: — C. E. Bradley, Norfolk, Nebr. , E. W. Bradley, Elba; Nebr., Mrs. W. S. Howard, post office-Walworth, Nebr., E. H. Bradley, Tulsa, Nebr. ; F. E. Bradley, Sand Springs, Nebr., one child died in infancy; Julia May Bradley and Mrs. Della Smith died many years ago.

In addition to the above there are 29 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren to mourn her death.

Mrs. Bradley suffered four strokes of paralysis. The third stroke which came four years ago left her an invalid. The fourth stroke came a few weeks ago. She bore her suffering patiently to the last.

Interment is to be made this (Wednesday afternoon) beside her husband and a daughter, in the cemetery at Aurora.
