J.D. Bratcher, 74, Horry County
Conway, Nov 16 - James David Bratcher, 74-year-old farmer of the Pine Grove section of Horry County, died at 12:25am today at a local hospital following an extended illness.
Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Saturday in the Graham Cemetery at Pine Grove by the Rev. Leroy Elvis.
Friends may call at the Goldfinch Funeral Home until the hour of service.
Mr. Bratcher was born in Horry County, son of the late William Henry and Eliza Ward Bratcher. He was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Trizzie McDowell Bratcher, two sons, Leo and Julian Bratcher of Route 5, Conway; two daughters, Mrs. Naomi Graham of Conway and Mrs. S.J. Cooper of Roswell, N.M.; five brothers and one sister, 15 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
