Marcus W. Ackerman, representative of an electric company, died unexpectedly in an Olympia office building Monday afternoon at the age of forty-four years. He was waiting to be treated for heart trouble. Mr. Ackerman was born in Ashton, Illinois. He had made his home in Everett for nine years before moving to Olympia five months ago. He was a member of the Everett Yacht Club. Surviving are his wife "Dode" Nora Ackerman; his father, William Ackerman of Pierre, South Dakota; and a sister, Miss Mildred Ackerman, also living in Pierre. The bod was moved to Mills and Mills Tuesday to John F. Jerread's mortuary in Everett, where the funeral service will be this Friday afternoon, starting at three o'clock. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery.
