Bertha P. Logan, 92, of Urbana, died Saturday, January 15, 2011 in her residence.
She was born November 20, 1918 in Troy, OH. She was a daughter of William and Bertha (Ormsby) Brooks.
Bertha was former owner of the Valley View Mobile Home Park and ran the Brookside Farm. She loved to read, knit, travel, cook and bake.
She is survived by a daughter Ruth Logan of Urbana; six grandchildren, William Neer, Kenneth Daniel Neer, Darrell Wayman, Falon Logan, Barry Logan and Stephanie Lyons; several great-grandchildren and a niece Zelda Peters of Shippersburg, PA.
Bertha was preceded in death by her parents, husband William A. Logan on November 11, 1977, son Eugene W. "Gene" Logan on February 26, 1990; four brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 with funeral services to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Walter-Smith Funeral home with the Rev. Garland Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Dale Cemetery.
