Obituary for Alpha Flack Parker
Alpha Flack Parker, age 88, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Accordius Health in Rutherfordton, NC. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Elza Ja and Martha Flack. She loved to travel, especially to the beach, and loved doing word search puzzles. Alpha was a member of Piney Mountain Baptist Church and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband W. K. Parker, one son Robert Edward Parker, one grandson, one great grandson, many brothers and step brothers and many sisters and step sisters.

Alpha is survived by one son, Jeff I. Parker and his wife Priscilla, two daughters, Frances Parker Padgett and her husband Charles, Kim Parker and her husband Toby Crain.

The visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm in Eggers Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Terry Padgett officiating. Interment will be at Rutherford County memorial Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.eggersfuneralhome.com. Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside is in charge of the arrangements.
