Services for Emily N. Christensen, 66, Route 3, Caldwell-Nampa Boulevard, Caldwell, who died Saturday at a Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Caldwell 2nd Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Bishop Melvin E. Priest, under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.

She was born May 28, 1913, to Milton and Martha Ann Tonks Sheets, in Victor, where she was reared and educated. She married Dell P. Christensen on Nov. 3, 1932, at Logan, Utah. The lived near Rexburg. They lived at Seattle during World War II and returned to Rexburg in 1945. They moved to Caldwell in 1946 and established Christensen Motor Sales Co. She was a member of the Caldwell 2nd Ward LDS Church and the Relief Society, and had served as president of the society. She also was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She was serving on the Genealogy Extraction Mission in Canyon County at the time of her death.

Surviving are 2 sons, Kent and Milton, Christensen, both of Caldwell; a daughter, Mrs. Dale (Arlene) Patterson of Twin Falls; a brother, Doug Sheets of Driggs; a sister, Mrs. V.N. (Edna) Hansen of Springville, Utah; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her husband died Aug. 15, 1978, and a daughter, Mrs. Bridges (Norma) Taylor, died, in 1966. She also was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, on Monday from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., and at the Relief Society room at the church on Tuesday from 9 p.m. until time of services.
