79, of Millbrook, IL passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2001 at his home in Millbrook. He was born February 16, 1922 in Aurora, IL to Charles F. & Jennie (Steitz) Kuehlem. He married Shirley Ann Raymond, on May 29, 1948 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He served with The United States Naval Air Corps as an Ensign Pilot, was employed at Weir Foundry as a Superintendent retiring in 1983. He was also a member of the American Legion in Plano, IL.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2001 at Turner Funeral Home, 3952 Turner Ave. (1/4 mile west of Eldamain Rd. on Rt. 34, 630-552-3022) Plano, IL. With the Father Anthony Nockunas officiating. Burial will be at St. Paul's Queen of Angels Cemetery in Sandwich. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2001 at the funeral home, with prayers being recited at 7:30 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; his children, Rick (Robin) Kuehlem of Sayner, WI, Terry (Doris) Kuehlem of Plano, IL, Sheron (Harry) Haggard of Plano, IL, Jody (Jerry) Knobeloch of Yorkville, IL, Sandy Cockriel (Marty Weber) of Yorkville, IL, Tim (Stephanie) Kuehlem of Plano, IL; grandchildren, Katie, Aaron, Nicholas, Amee, Christopher, Kristin, Ashley, Kuehlem, Kristy, Amy, Emily Smith, Jeff, Kevin, Jennifer Noss, Kerry Haggard, Leslie, Jason Knobeloch, Stacy, Melissa Cockriel; great grandchildren, Kendra, Cody, Tyler; also many nieces and nephews.
