Services for Mrs. Mary Esther Coleman ,94, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Replogle Lawrence Funeral Home in Medina with Rev. Don Thrasher officating, Burial will follow in the Hope Hill Cemetery.
Mrs Coleman died Wednesday evening at Humboldt General Hospital.
The daughter of the late Preston and Addie Bobbitt Childress, Mrs. Coleman was born in the Medina community and had lived here all her life. She was educated in the Gibson County School System and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Medina.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Sue Spencer of Medina: five sons, Travis,Leon,Keaton, Wenton and Larry Coleman all of Medina;
fourteen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Coleman in 1977 and a daughter Edna Coleman in 1982.
Grandsons serving as pallbearers will be:Johnny Coleman, Johnny Boswell, Ricky Coleman, Scott Coleman, Benny Jack Seavers, Travis W. Coleman, Danny Hecht and Wayne Hecht.
The family will recieve visitors at the Funeral home this evening from 4-9 p.m.
