Washington, D. C., Nov. 6 (AP). -- Mrs. Horace Mann Towner, regent of the Mount Vernon Ladies' association, which owns and maintains the home of George Washington, died today at Alexandria, Va. Mrs. Towner, 75 years old, was the sixth regent of the association, formed in 1853. She succeeded to that post five years ago after being a vice regent from Iowa. She was the widow of Judge Horace Mann Towner, one time governor of Puerto Rico. Funeral services will be Monday with burial at Corning, Iowa.
