Mrs. Paul (Blanche G Guyton) Dodson, 83, of 2727 N Monroe St died at 6:33pm Wednesday (April 23, 1986) in Decatur Memoria Hospital Long Term Care Unit.
Services will be 11am Saturday in Brintlinger's Pershing Funeral Home with visitation 6 to 9pm Friday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials: First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Dodson was born in St. Louis, Mo., daughter of Harry and Maude Guyton She was a school-teacher in Macon and Piatt counties for 50 years, a member of First United Methodist Church, United Women's Circle III of the church. Delta Kappa Gamma sorority and Decatur Retired Teachers Association. She married Paul Dodson in 1926. He died in 1954.
Surviving is her sister, Sue Shields of Springfield.
Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
