Aaron is the son of Resdon Beauchamp and Mary Rush. He was first married in 1834 in Pickaway Co. Ohio to Mahala Elizabeth Wilson. They were the parents of James W. Beauchamp (1836-1876) and George W. A. Beauchamp (1841-1858). Malala died aft 1850 - probably in Carroll Co. Indiana - where the family had been living at the time of the 1850 US census. In 1852 in Carroll Co. Indiana, Aaron married Sarah Ann (Booth) Selders - widow of George Selders. The blended family is living together at the time of the 1856 Iowa state census in Louisa Co.
