Kathleen graduated from Wadsworth H.S. in 1930 and attended Actual Business College. She was employed at Firestone Tire & Rubber Co., where she was an executive secretary.

She was a member of Fairlawn West United Church of Christ, and past president of the women's fellowship and an active member of that group. She was a member of the Akron Women's City Club, and volunteered many years at Stan Hywet Gift Shop.

Preceded in death by her step-daughter, Sandra Martin, she is survived by her husband of 41 years, Dean Weidman; sister-in-law, Laura Seiberling; step-children, Philip (Sherri) of Dover, Gary (Mary) of Queen Creek, Ariz., William (Chris) of O'Fallon, Mo., James (David) of Racho Mirage, Calif.; 10 stepgrandchildren, and 10 step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. MONDAY at Fairlawn West United Church of Christ, with Rev. David Loar officiating. Internment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., SUNDAY, 5 to 7 p.m., and one hour before services MONDAY at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairlawn West U.C.C., 2095 W. Market St., Akron, 44313.
