Arnold Covey was married to Sophie A. Steger who was born in Russia on December 10, 1909. She Petitioned to become a Naturalized Citizen on April 11, 1985 in Miami, Dade County Florida. She died on June 22, 1994 in Dade County Florida. Her burial location, if there is one (possible cremation?) is not known at this time.

Arnold served as a Private First Class, Company E, 23rd Infantry, 2nd Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on October 1, 1943 in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed in the manufacture of leather and also as Married.

Arnold was "Killed In Action" at Göttingen, Germany during the war and was awarded the Purple Heart.
