DAVENPORT - Kenneth E. Fowler, 68, of Davenport, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. at Runge Mortuary, with visitation from 11 to 1 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Parr Cemetery, Pleasant Prairie, Iowa. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Kimberly Crest Veterinarian Hospital Care of Sadie Fowler Memorial.
Kenneth was born on May 18, 1936, in Davenport, the son of Forest and Beulah (Dooley) Fowler. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Regennitter on Oct. 9, 1954, in Davenport.
Prior to his retirement he was in Customer Service for IBM Corporation for 28 years.
Those left to honor his memory include his loving wife Marilyn of 50 years; children and spouses, Joe (Laura) Fowler, Robin (Bob) Hillery, Mike (Carol) Fowler, Gary (Angie) Fowler, Mary (Shawn) Shubat, Cindy (Aaron) Dibbern, Linda (John) Kleffmann; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lorraine (Darrell) Darland, Carol (Donald) George, both of Davenport; and Gwen (John) Knollman, Princeton, Iowa; and his faithful dog, Sadie, whom he loved very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Forest and Beulah Fowler, and great-granddaughter, Alyssa Hillery.
