Myrtle married William Samuel Rose on June 5 1898 Arkabutla or Tupelo MS. They eventually settled near Cotton Plant, Arkansas. Will died in 1909 and Myrtle returned to live with her parents in White County Arkansas. Myrtle died in 1912 and her children were brought to Limestone County Alabama where they were divided out between Will's brothers and sisters to be reared. Myrtle was buried at Mt Pisgah Cemetery a few miles from the sleepy little town of Letona in the Northern part of White County. There is no sign of a marker for her grave but there are many unmarked graves there.
