Flight Sergeant 431465 White, RAAF, was the son of Harry and Anne White, of Nethcote, Victoria, Australia.

He died on 17th January 1945, on board Wellington Bomber NC 706 from 29 Op Training which took off from RAF Bruntingthorpe, Leicestershire on a night cross country exercise. The starboard engine failed and the aircraft crashed near Bruntingthorpe. He was 21.
