Reverend... Alonzo Henderson White Sr. married Margaret Connelly.
Alonzo White was the son of Benjamin Franklin White and Frances Fanny Lavendar White. (A copy of their Family Bible records are in a book in the Denver Public Library in genealogy section.)

From: Handbook of Waco and McLennan County Texas
Alonzo H. White, Sr., immigrated to Texas with his family about the time of the Texas Revolution. Having shown he was a resident of Texas before March 2, 1836. White was given title to a headright grant on one-third of a league of land (1,520 acrea) in 1839 by the San Augustine land commission. In 1844 he located this grant near present Blum then in Robertson County. He later moved to McLennan County where he was a member and pastor of Bold Springs Baptist Church in 1858. On Oct. 7, 1861 White enlisted in Gregg's 7th Texas Infantry. Captured at Ft. Donelson on Feb. 16, 1862, he was released at Vicksburg on Sept. 22 of that year. He was severely wounded at the Battle of Raymond, MS, in May, 1863, and sent home to Texas to recover but was never able to return to duty.
In the 1850's he married Margaret Louise (Connally) McCoy; they were the parents of 3 children. White died near Elm Mott in 1896
