D.Ferron Gardner, age 76, died peacefully at the Castleview Hospital Monday, July 6, 1992, as the result of a stroke.

He was born October 20, 1915, in Salem, Utah, to Dell and Lily Tagge Gardner. He married Josphine Nielson June 10, 1936, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He owned and operated Price Auto Parts for 25 years. Since retiring he has been a farmer with his apprentice grandson Dusten.He is survived by: His wife, Josephine; daughter and husband, Kara Lynn and Leo Heugly; grandchildren, Dee (missionary in Germany), JoLayna, Daniel, Dusten, Jaclyn, Donna Arroyo and Brent Richard; great-grandson, Jessie Arroyo; brother and sisters, Iris Barrett, Midvale; Glen, Culver City, Calif.; Garth, Pico Rivera, Calif.; Aeriel, Hacienda Heights, Calif.; Adell Miller, Everett, Wash.; Phil, Chino, Calif.; sister-in-law, Pearl Gardner. Preceded in death by his son, Brent, father and mother, brothers, Darwin and Quent.

He was the epitome of fatherhood to Kara and Brent. He was loved and adored by his grandchildren, and a grandpa to many neighborhood children, and was deeply devoted to his wife. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, neighbors and the community.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 10, 1992, 1 p.m., in the Carbonville 1st Ward. Friends may call Thursday evening, 7-8 p.m., at Fausett Mortuary, and one hour prior to funeral at the church. Burial, Price City Cemetery.
