BURTON PETERS
The funeral services of Burton Peters, who died suddenly last Friday night, were held from his late home on Hunt Street, Bennington, Tuesday at 2:00 PM.
He was a native of White Creek, born here May 12, 1880, and lived much of his early life in this area, including Shaftsbury and Bennington. In middle life he spent some time in Ohio. At the time of his death he was foreman of the Albany Novelty Company in North Bennington.
Mr. Peters was one of seven brothers, four of whom survive, Fred of Hoosick Falls, Eugene of South Shaftsbury, Clarence of Bennington and Walter of Buffalo. His wife, the former Nellie Center; a daughter, Mrs. Leta Schmit, a granddaughter, several nieces and nephews, and two sisters, together with the brothers are his survivors.
