Mrs Missouri Kansas Harlan was born 8/12/1857 at Burns, Dixon Co, Tenn and died 2/3/1947 at the home of her
daughter, Mrs J.M. Monger in Tulsa. She married James A. Harlan in Howell Co, Missouri and lived in Missouri,
Arkansas, Oklahoma territory & Texas prior to moving to Mountain View, OK in 1896. They lived in Tuttle a number
of years. Her husband preceeded her in death 9/30/1944. Also one son, Frankie E. Harlan on 7/27/1945.
She is survived by 3 sons, W.E. Harlan & J.O. Harlan, Tuttle and Otis Harlan Elkhare, and 4 daughters, Mrs W.W.
Walker, Iowa Prk, TX, Mrs H.D. Linn, Elkart, Kansas, Mrs J.M. Monger, Tulsa, ans Mrs O.E. Ewing, Borger, TX.
and one brother A.C. Tidwell of Granburg, TX. Funeral services were conducted in Tulsa, Tuesday. Services
were conducted in the Christian church in Tuttle, Wednesday with Bro Wendell Hart of the Baptist church.
Pallbearers were: R.L. Albers, Walter Boiswell, Lemoise Kramer, Tom Reynolds, Will Clark, & Floyd Hendricks.
Interment was in Tuttle cemetery by Sowers funeral home.
