Mrs. H.D. Fletcher

Mrs. H.D. Fletcher died at her home at 310 Center Avenue at 4:20 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, after a week's illness with puerperal fever. She was not deemed to be in an especially dangerous condition until about 2 o'clock on the afternoon of her death, at which time she commenced to suffer with serious sinking spells.

Josephine Eva Grover was born in Plover on July 15, 1861. On July 21, 1887, she was married to H.D. Fletcher in this city, and with the exception of two years spent on a farm in Buena Vista, all their married life had been passed in Stevens Point.

The deceased is survived by four small children, Genevieve, Gladys, Fern and Herman, ranging in age from thirteen down to four years. She also leaves a mother, Mrs. Candace Grover, of Carson, a sister and five brothers, Mrs. Hattie Lampman of Stockton, William, George, Hugh and Gordie of Carson and Elmer of Oakfield, Fond du Lac county.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon. The remains will be taken from the house at 3:30 to St. Paul's M.E. church, where Rev. W.A. Hall will conduct the funeral services commencing at 4 o'clock. The interment will follow in the Episcopal cemetery.
