Emile A. Duquette
Charlottesville, Va. Emile Antoine Duquette, 93, of Charlottesville, Va., died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at a local nursing home.
He was born on Jan. 22, 1907, in St. Bernard, de LaColie, Canada, the son of the late Adelard Duquette and Josephine Elvina (Thiboudeau) Duquette.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Lauratte Bedard, Corinne Seguin, Albert Duquette, Lucien Duquette and Yovonne Boudreau.
Mr. Duquette was a retired farmer and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
Surviving are his children, Janet Janosko of Charlottesville, Va., Leon Duquette of Broadubbin, Carol North of Clifton Park and Betty Klimish of Amsterdam; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 10 nieces; and 10 nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, Jan. 21, at Hill and Wood Funeral Home in Charlottesville, from 7 to 8 p.m. concluding with a prayer service at 6 p.m.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Charlottesville at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 22.
