"The "Susie Hooge" listed on the headstone was the first wife of my great uncle, Frank J Hooge. She was born Susanna Ewert, daughter of Heinrich H Ewert and Anna H Sperling. She met and married Frank in Aug 1917 while they were both attending Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas. Frank did remarry and became a pastor and traveling Evangelist for 23 yrs serving Colorado, Nebraska, and the Dakotas.
He passed away in 1950 and is buried in Corn, Oklahoma."
