Jessie Davis Bailey was the first of four children, born 08 Sep 1901 in Bienville Parish, Louisiana, to Mattie Fouts Warren, 1881-1966 and William Turner Bailey 1877-1953. Jessie died at age of 3 years 6 m0nths in 1906 and is buried in the Camp Ground Cemetery where his parents would later join him.
Jessie's siblings were:
-Gertrude Henrietta b 1904 d Apr 1980, married Alvin B. Malone 1907-1977, they had a daughter, Joyce.
-Lonnie Irene b 1905, married Benjamin F. Hess b 1893; to this union 4 children were born: -Benjamin F., Jr. b 1931 (married Charlotte Wilson, in 1956 lived in Amarillo, Texas, and, had Rodney, Peggy, and Mark), -William Fritz b 1932 (married Jo Ann, had Carolyn, Jim. and Mark), -Carolyn b 1938, -James "Jim" b 1939 (married Judy Cantalora, they had 2 sons, Kevin and Andrew), and -Hunter C. b 28 Dec 1940.
- Ralph Wayne b 16 Mar 1915 d 24 Mar 1995, 06 Jan 1937 married Nova Lloyd Weatherby b 07 Dec 1909 d 31 Dec 1988; they had six children: -Murray Wayne stillborn 08 Dec 1937, --Nolan Wayne married JoAnn, had 2 sons, -Ruth Elaine married Samuel Vance Logan, had a daughter and a son, -Alona Dvone married Richard Waldrop and had 3 daughters, and, Catherine Laverne stillborn 13 Mar 1943.
Jessie Davis was sadly missed by his entire family.
