John Wells, familiarly known as "Dad," is at the hospital, and very seriously ill.

The remains of John Wells were laid in their last resting place Tuesday. Members of the G. A. R. marched in a body to the Methodist church out of respect to their dead comrade, and Rev. Scheckler preached a touching and appropriate sermon.
