Obituary: Mrs. Bertha May Manning Kauffman, who would have celebrated her sixty-second birthday Tuesday (today), died at 7:30 a.m. Monday at her home, Conestoga R2, Manor Twp. She was found dead in bed about 8 a.m. be her husband, Norman W. Dr. A.J. Greenleaf, deputy coroner, said death was caused by coronary occlusion. Mrs. Kauffman was born and lived all her life in Manor Twp. She was a daughter of the late Albert A. and Amanda Nichlos Manning. Besides her husband, she is survived by a foster daughter, Vergie, wife of Harry Jenkins, Conestoga; one brother, Abram N. Manning, Mountville; one granddaughter, two nieces and one nephew.
