Heart Attack Proves Fatal
Dillard Dudley McGehee, widely beloved Decatur resident, died suddenly yesterday morning at 6:30 o'clock of a heart attack at his residence, 602 East Vine Street.
Active in civic and religious as well as business circles, Mr. McGehee had served for many years as a trustee and as a steward in the First Methodist Church. He was a member of the Masonic order and for a period of 20 years was president of the Decatur Board of Education.
Until his retirement several years ago, Mr. McGehee had been in the furniture business in Decatur for a number of years.
Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at the First Methodist Church by the pastor, Dr. R.M. Howell. Interment will follow in the City Cemetery, Brown directing.
Surviving are the widow; a son, John McGehee; a granddaughter, Betty; two sisters, Mrs. P.R. Shelby and Mrs. W.P. Henry, both of Princeton, Ky; and a number of other relatives.
Pallbearers will be J.H. Johnson, J.B. Fleming, N.R. Carrell, Dr. L.R. Ramage, Foster Pointer and Julian Harris.

DILLARD DUDLEY McGEHEE, of 602 East Vine Street, Decatur, died May 9, 1942, at his residence.
He was born June 29, 1869, in Princeton, Kentucky. He was married to Maude McGehee.
Burial was in Decatur Cemetery, Brown directing.
