Lloyd B. Spensley Dies, Funeral Monday

Services will be held at 10 Monday morning for Lloyd B. Spensley, a farmer and resident of the Turlock area for 55 years before his death Friday at the age of 72 in a local hospital.

Mr. Spensley was a native of South Dakota and came to Turlock in 1912 with his family, graduating from Turlock High School in 1915. After fighting in World War I, he returned to Turlock and was a farmer until his death.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Greta in 1956. He was a member of the Turlock Barracks of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include two sons, Reginald of Chino and Gavin of Turlock, two sisters, Mrs. C. J. McConnell of Modesto and Mrs. Claude Brooks of Ceres, a brother, William Spensley of Los Gatos, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at Norton Mortuary with Brother Wldon Lewis of the Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be at the Winton Cemetery.
