Inscription

"Jude Hall, Born ca. 1760, Slave of Philemon Blake of Kensington.
Fought in Battle of Bunker Hill, served till the end of the Revolutionary War, 1783.
Married Rhoda Paul, 1786. Lived as a free man on Drinkwater Road, Exeter.
Died ca. 1827. Buried in this yard.
This stone erected A.D. 2000."

Gravesite Details

Marker erected by Ed Wall in 2000, because Jude's original grave could not be found. He is listed as being buried in this yard. The African-American section of the yard is in the northeast corner. Only three originals remain: Tash and Cutlers.
