TERRE HAUTE — Betty Jane Johnson, 83, of Terre Haute, passed away at 11:45 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, in Royal Oaks Health Care & Rehabilitation Center and will be dearly missed. She was born in Terre Haute, on Oct. 1, 1926, to Stanley and Velora Clark.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Kuhn Johnson; and her son, Douglas Johnson. She is survived by her daughter, Pamma Farrand and her husband Ron; a sister, Patricia Case; three grandchildren, Shelly Uzzell, Kipper Copeland, and Codi Clingenpeel; and seven great-grandchildren.

Keeping with her wishes, burial was private on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at Watson Cemetery. DeBaun Springhill Chapel handled the arrangements.
