She was born in Biddeford, Maine, on Oct. 9, 1955, a daughter of Bradford C. Dyer and Kathleen F. Hanscom. She graduated from Kennebunk High School and attended SMVTI in South Portland.
She was employed by the Liberty Mutual Insurance of Dover, N. H., for more than 15 years.
Joleen enjoyed travel, crafts, and gardening, loved spending time with her family and friends and was an avid animal lover.
She was predeceased by her father and a nephew, Tyson Goodwin.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Richard (Kathleen) Stevens of Acton; a son, Lonnie Maxwell of Bend, Ore.: a brother, Bradford Dyer of Hollis; a sister, Allison Goodwin of North Berwick; two half-sisters, Georgia MacDonald of Dover, and Merryan Moore of Biloxi, Miss.; one niece, two nephews and several aunts and uncles.
