Funeral service for Dwight D. French, 65, of Dickson, Tenn. will be Saturday, September 4, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. French died Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at the VA Hospital in Nashville, Tenn. He was a Marine and a Vietnam War veteran. His father, Earnest French, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Rita "Polly" French; one son, Jason French of Dickson, Tenn.; his mother, Myrtle French of Decatur; two brothers, Leon and James French, both of Decatur; one sister, Mary Nelms of Decatur; and several nieces and nephews.
