He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Ameele; two daughters, Mrs. Leland Garlock and Mrs. William Drury, both of Marion; six sons, Earl of Ontario, Lester of Palmyra, Ivan, Floyd, Milton and Gordon, all of Marion; five sisters, Mrs. Abram Leenhouts and Mrs. Salem Corteville, both of Williamson; Mrs. Magdalene Fisher and Mrs. Harry Dikeman, both of Newark, and Mrs. Garrett Hospers of Ontario; two
brothers, Stanley Ameele of Rochester and Isaac Ameele of Williamson; 17 grandchildren; four great-
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held at the Nye Funeral Home in Marion yesterday afternoon. Burial was made in Furnaceville Cemetery. (The Williamson Sun and The Williamson Sentinel., July 28, 1955)
