Mazie Lami Johnson-Age 90, a native of Bayou La Batre, AL and a resident of Coden, AL died on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Johnson, brothers, LeRoy "Tiny" Lami, Leon "Buster" Lami, sisters, Leona Bosarge, twin sister, Mammie "Bit" Herrington, Evelyn Gerard, mother, Luvenia Bosarge Lami, father, Albert Lami. She is survived by her children, Sonia (Raliegh) Bates, Ronald (Francis) Johnson, Wilson (Jenny) Johnson, Cherry (James) Stokes, Ricky (Thelma) Johnson, Wayne (Cindy) Johnson, Wanda Johnson, Marvette (Debbie) Johnson, 22 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the capel of Serenity Funeral Home on Monday, November 3, 2008 at 12 noon. Visitation will be 10 A.M. till service time Monday at the funeral home.
