Aunt Mamie always grieved for the two little girls she lost in 1921.

I believe Gracie and Lydia was first buried in a cemetery on what is now Fort Gordon, and moved and buried here together when the famly farm was taken over by the goverment to build the Fort Gordon Army Base.

There is one marker for Gracie and Lydia. I believe they were removed from another cemetery, now on Fort Gorden, and buried together here.
