Robert "Bob" Ivey, 46, of Toms River, passed away at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ on May 10, 2009. Born in Hoboken, NJ, he lived in Toms River most of his life. He worked for Midas, Bayville, NJ for 9 years as a Manager and most recently was a supervisor at Original Leisure Village, Lakewood, NJ. He was a member of New Beginnings Church, Brick. He loved fishing, the outdoors, cooking and working on cars. He was a family man and was always there for others.
He was predeceased by his Sister, Linda in 1993. Surviving is his wife, Faith; his son, Jared; his mother and step father, Nettie & Joseph Lanno, Lakewood; his Father, Rowland Ivey, Poconos Pennsylvania; his God Parents, Dorothy & Richard Wooley, Lakewood and his dogs, Jesse & Josie.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be on Thursday, May 14, at 11 a.m. at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River, NJ.
