News was received here Tuesday of the death of Mrs. Clarence Oscar (Annie L.) Wright, mother of Robert L. Wright, of Palatka, at the Flagler Memorial Hospital, St. Augustine, that morning after an illness of several weeks. She was taken to the hospital ten days ago, and since that time has gradually declined.
Mrs. Wright leaves three sons and two daughters, Lloyd Wright, Robert L. Wright of Palatka; Clarence Wright and Mrs. Marie Jetton, of Nashville, Tenn, and Mrs. Athenia Burroughs, of Nashville, Tenn. She was the widow of Clarence Oscar Wright, who died at Daytona about a month ago, the double bereavement causing much sorrow among the friends of Mr. Wright here, as well as of friends of other members of the family.
The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Daytona, where the deceased had been living for some time. (Times-Herald Obituary dtd Friday, 20 Mar 1925.)
