Donna Jo Brown Nieman, 63, of Longview, Texas, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010. A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m., Friday, at Little Flock Baptist Church in Longview with the Rev. John Sullens and the Rev. Ted White officiating. Entombment will follow in Rosewood Park Mausoleum. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.

Pallbearers will be Brian Simpson, Jerome Webb, Les Littleton, Durwood Worley, Kenny Waldron, and Lynn Akin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Glenn Elliott, Eddie Ray, Craig Worley, David Worley, Beau Carpenter and Jodey Fleming.

Mrs. Nieman was born on Oct. 15, 1946, in Chicago. She was the daughter of Frances Brown of Dresden and the late L. D. Brown. She graduated from Sharon High School and Morgan Business College in Martin. On Aug. 31, 1968, she was married to Bobby Nieman, who preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 2009. Together they owned and operated Trailer Delivery Service. She was a faithful member of Little Flock Baptist Church and a member of Beta Sigma Phi.

She is also survived by her daughter, Stacey Fleming and her husband Jodey Fleming; her granddaughters, Madison and Allissa; her mother, Frances Brown; a brother, Danny Brown; brother-in-law, Durwood Worley; and sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Debbie Simpson and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Worley.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Little Flock Baptist Church Building Fund, 14206 FM, 968 W. Longview, Texas 75602; or the Scleroderma Foundation, attn: Donations, 300 Rosewood Drive Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 this evening at the funeral home. A memorial guestbook may be signed online at www.raderfh.com.
