Mrs. Ella M. VanBlaricum, 63, wife of Alonzo J. VanBlaricum, died unexpectedly at 7:15 o'clock Friday night at her home in Hope. Death was attributed to a heart attack. She suffered a similar attack a few months ago but recovered and seemed to be in her usual health until stricken.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Norman funeral home conducted by the Rev. C.M. Hewitt, pastor of the Hope Wesleyan Methodist church. Burial will be made at Garland Brook cemetery.

The casket will be open at the funeral home from Sunday noon, until the services.

Mrs. VanBlaricum was born Oct. 25, 1879, in Kentucky, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Fry. She spent most of her life in Bartholomew county and she and her husband went to Hope to make their home 15 years ago.

Besides her husband, she is survived by five daughters and two sons, Miss Jean VanBlaricum of Indianapolis, Mrs. Mary Burke, Mrs. Louella Knotts, Mrs. Dee Weddle and Mrs. Ruth Neal, all of Columbus; Ernest VanBlaricum of Indianapolis, and Pvt. Leslie VanBlaricum of Nashville, Tenn.
